How is data cleaned?

Worklytics analyzes calendar metadata from Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook calendar. This includes data such as time stamps on meetings, when meetings were created, how long they are and who attends them. To ensure that metrics are as accurate as possible Worklytics attempts to clean calendar data to remove items that are unlikely to be meetings. This includes reminders, events with only 1 attendee, all day events and events people have rejected. Worklytics also considers whether attendees are employees of the organization or external by looking at the domains in their email addresses.
